🎥 Synopsis
In Paddle The Silence, the immediacy of the modern world gives way to time and contemplation.
Through a 1,500 km solo crossing of New Zealand’s South Island, the film documents a prolonged immersion in remote, isolated landscapes.
Alternating between hiking and packrafting, the route gradually leaves the marked trails of the Te Araroa Trail to embrace a more demanding and exhilarating form of adventure.
This journey is an ode to freedom, to the poetry of untouched wilderness, and to the inner adventure that unfolds when we choose to slow down and truly immerse ourselves.
